Longega

The mountain resort of Longega (German: Zwischenwasser) is located at a road junction between the Italy mountain resorts of Badia and Marebbe; Longega altitude is of 1015 meters. Longega is the first Val Badia municipality and the ideal destination for guests looking for holidays in the mountains under the sign of peace and tranquillity. Its tourism facilities are all family- run and small: farmhouses, bed & breakfast, guesthouses, and so on. Longega offers wonderful Dolomites panoramas, and it’s also possible to see the whole valley continuing behind the village. Ladin traditions are still alive in Longega; during processions, it’s still possible to admire the traditional Val Badia traditional costumes. Even if local tradition are still very felt, people here aren’t narrow-minded at all; if you pass by Longega, you’ll be greeted with a cordial “Begnodüs”, which means “Welcome” in Ladin.
